Our car rental friendly services include pick up and drop off the car at the airport and or delivery to your hotels, private houses or anywhere in Bali within Denpasar Airport, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and Ubud areas. The daily tariffs below are not inclusive of car insurance [please scroll down for car insurance table] to calculate the additional costs of the car insurance. Car rates relate to the condition and year of vehicles. When advising the type of vehicle that you would prefer, please clarify condition or rate of your choice and book your rental car in advance to guarantee your booking. The reservation is appreciated to be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to your request date.

Bali Rent Cars - Terms and Conditions

1. An International Driving License is required for foreigners to drive in Bali, and a National Driving License for Indonesian citizen.

2. The rental rates are unlimited mileage, includes taxes and service
charges but does not inclusive of car insurance. Please scroll down the insurance costs on Insurance Table rates. Full insurance coverage own risk access maximum US $30 per-accident. If not insured, any damage or theft of the car or any parts of it, will be customer's own liability risk up to USD 6,500 (Suzuki Katana), USD7,500 (Daihatsu Feroza), USD 8,500 (Standard Kijang) and USD 12,500 (Taruna and Late Model Kijang).

3. An advance deposit payment is not needed to confirm the bookings. Please pre-book the reservation in advance by filling out the BOOKING FORM immediately or latest within 48 hours of the date request to guarantee the car is available on the date of enquiry. The car will be delivered on the dates request on time.

4. Rental rates are 24 hours for self-drive rent and a 10 hour of the rent with driver. The rental extension should be informed not less than 24 hours before the expiry date, otherwise the car may be pre-booked by another party. If the renter does not return the car and did not inform to the rental company within 48 hours since the expiry date, then the Car Rental Company will report it to the police mentioning the car is lost or stolen. All risks taken by police department through the government law will be the renter responsibility.

5. Extra hours is charged USD 3.00 per-hour for self-drive rent, and USD 6.00 for rental with driver. The car petrol should be borne by the renter The costs of the petrol is about USD10.00 for a full day trip.

6. The renter (Party 2), is NOT permitted to drive a car on the beach and outside the island and extremely not be allowed to drive the car when being sick or drunk. The renter will be fully responsible to any consequences caused when giving the car to be driven by a person other than the renter stated in the car rental contract agreement.

7. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION:
All payments are to be paid in full upon signing of the car rental contract agreement and should be settled in Rupiah (IDR) cash OR can be converted to foreign currencies prevailing to the exchange rate on the day of the car delivery, . When the car is returned by the renter of any personal cause prior end of contract period, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged for the remaining days of the former contract agreement. One-day rental charge is levied for canceling the reservation on the day of car delivery. There is not a refund will be returned for the car insurance costs that has been paid..

There are many books and brochures written about Bali island with the information of interesting places on the island, information of how to get around and where you should go in Bali. Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Sanur and Ubud areas offer spots interest, recommended restaurants and water sports.

Fill up the car's tank at the government petrol station in the beginning of your daily adventure. While on the road, an important virtue to have here is patience! Although the road system in the heavily populated areas is in reasonable condition compared to other developing countries, it can be heavily congested at peak periods. Ceremonial processions sometimes occupy the whole one way road so if you are caught behind a procession, enjoy the colorful experience. Roads can also be quite narrow with heavy pedestrian traffic on each side and busy road on the main roads side of the cock fighting events which sometimes happed at the village main road. This invariably tests the reversing skills of many drivers!

Take note of several important points while driving in Bali. It is not unusual for cars and bikes to swerve into your lane without indication. A system of "sharing lane" has developed because there are often obstacles on the sides of the road, such as parked cars, ceremonial procession and road constructions. Busy hours in Bali start from 6:30am-8:30am and 03:00pm-5:30pm when the workers go and return home.

Be aware that drivers from side streets often do not look when joining a main road and the larger vehicle is king of the road.

The red traffic lights are considered to stop for a while but there are a few places where traffic in the left lane may turn straight through whilst the light is red with a sign "Belok Kiri Jalan Terus" meant go ahead to turn left.

Remember voice the horn when going around curves on mountainous and narrower roads as drivers commonly drive in the middle of the road. There are a lot of one way roads in Bali. If you miss your turn off and may have drive quite a distance before being able to turn back. This has resulted in motorbike riders riding a few hundred meters in the wrong direction. Be alert!

Ensure the car is locked and parking safetly when stopped. Do not leave valuables: passports, jewelry or money out in the car. Although stealing is not a common activity in Bali. It DOES and CAN happen if there is temptation. Car rental and Insurance Company will NOT responsible for items that maybe missing.
