The villa is a rare example of absolute luxury, in a prime location on the beach. This villa is situated in the trendiest area of Bali – Seminyak, which is about two and a half miles along the beach from Kuta. This area is just far enough away from the overcrowded Kuta area without being too remote. Nearby is the extraordinarily classy Oberoi Hotel with it’s beautiful grounds, beachfront restaurants, and tennis courts which can be reserved for the Villa guests. The Legian Hotel is even closer and is renowned for it’s superb cuisine and décor.

The Villa
There are five double bedrooms all air-conditioned and individually styled and features large windows. Four bedrooms command beautiful views of the sea, beach and pool and the fifth bedroom overlooks the courtyard and fountain. Three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. In front of the villa is a tidy lawn and 10 x 6 meter pool with comfortable, hardwood, pool furniture and canvas umbrellas. There is a covered Gazebo, dining-area adjoined by the sunbathing-deck right on the beach. This offers spectacular views in total privacy. Seminyak has long been the area for the hip and fashionable to hang out. Many of the European artists and designers, who make Bali their second-home, congregate around Seminyak to surf, sunbathe, mingle, dine and dance. Among the favourite haunts of this crowd are the fine Italian Beach-Restaurants, ‘La Luciola,’ the very popular Restaurant-Club ‘Ku De Ta’ and the ‘Hu Bar.’ All these are within walking distance from the villa. One can go out at night with out worrying about the famous Kuta traffic jams. A few hundred meters from the villa is the “Peti Tenget Pura” (Temple) Villa Guests can witness the sacred Balinese-Hindu traditions and ceremonies which have continued there for generations. The villa is located on southwestern tip of Bali in an area named the Bukit. This five bedroom estate overlooks white sand beaches and a blue lagoon abundant with fish and living coral, and offers a prime location from which to witness the island's stunning sunsets.

The staffing is of luxury hotel level with restaurant-standard food, a live-in manager and butler service, all devoted to facilitating intimate service among private splendor.

Set back forty meters from the cliff face, The villa sits within a tremendous gated property and is composed of two swimming pools, a relaxation bale, a private guest house (containing the master bedroom), and a main house. Within the main house is a living room, dining room, entertainment room (known as the Dotcom room), and four identical bedroom suites.

Both of the buildings are single-story and open-air with rich teakwood floors, inspiring a natural ambiance, while maintaining and accentuating the spectacular view. The colour of the pool water blends into the backdrop, merging within the mind's eye, to that point that the pool becomes an extension of the Pacific Ocean that lies beyond it.

The main garden is decorated with palms, heliconias and ferns, mixed with white flowering Spider lilies, Aturium, and dwarf lilacs, whilst the gnarled trunks of numerous frangipanis lead the view upward to their magnificent, flowering blooms. The tropical flora shades the side of the house and creates a privacy screen from parking area and kitchen, while the water-ponds serve to naturally cool the living room with the help of the south-easterly breezes.

Two symmetrical wings attached to the living room accommodate the bar and dining room to the left, and the Dotcom room to the right. Both rooms are slightly separated from the rest of the space, and are fully paneled internally and externally with teakwood, evoking a warm comfortable feel.

The impressive dining room table consists of one solid slab of teakwood, and easily seats ten. This air-conditioned area is enclosed by four sets of swinging glass doors that can be opened if desired, and overlooks the lily gardens to one side, and the expanse of the ocean to the other.

The Dotcom room is an enclosed air-conditioned space, which can be opened up if desired to overlook both the front and back of the estate. Alcoves in the back feature desks and internet access, providing a convenient place to catch up with the outside world.

Four bedrooms are located down open corridors, two of which lead past the dining room, and two of which lead past the Dotcom room. Each suite entry is decorated with carved limestone blocks representing traditional Ikat weavings from the islands of Flores and Sumba.

Each of the four matching suites is comprised of a bedroom with a capacious walk-in closet, and indoor and outdoor Bali-style bathrooms. All of the bedroom walls are faced with timber paneling to mid-height with white sand wash on top, leading up to the high cathedral timber-lined ceilings with ceiling fans, and air-conditioning.

Each bedrooms' ensuite bathroom is walled in white sandstone and feature bands of intricate designs in carved stone. All have huge teak-framed mirrors above twin vanities set in wood. The master bedroom is located within the guesthouse, which is separate from and slightly more elevated than, the main building, and set back so as to offer complete privacy. It has its own entrance way, parking facilities, and private swimming pool.

The master bedroom/guesthouse which is built completely from wood is divided into a covered deck, private kitchenette, living area, and a bedroom with a expansive ensuite bathroom. The living area and bedroom both look out over the property, and are enclosed on either side by sliding louvered glass doors. A spectacular view of the ocean is provided from the massive ironwood bed which is the centerpiece of the room along with its palatial mosquito net.

Set near the cliff face adjacent to the property's Hindu shrine, the relaxation bale is composed of a white, solid stone bench encircling a large wood table. The grounds of the property are in two levels. The upper level consists of a large grass lawn of thick, comfortable grass and two water gardens with fountains to either side of living room.

The thirty-two meter long swimming pool is set on this level, and offers a breathtaking side to side infinity line leading to the ocean background as the waters spill over the edge nearest the ocean. Combined with an extensive staff who provide a level of service unrivaled outside a luxury hotel, there is no parallel.

The villa, which sits atop 5,000 m2 of cultivated gardens, consists of three separate buildings, the main building, the guest cottage & the pavilion (open-plan living area that overlooks the pool and ocean). The villa was designed to maximize use of the outdoors, as well as providing guests with quality living, dining & sleeping areas. All living and dining areas are fan cooled.

Main Building:
Upon entering this building through the large antique wooden doors, the size of the property & the immaculate attention to detail are immediately apparent. All rooms are spacious, and anyone who recognizes quality will surely appreciate the small selection of antiques found throughout this impressive home. The main building features a formal dining area, which will comfortably seat up to 16 (sixteen) people, a study & three fully air-conditioned bedrooms (with en-suite bathrooms).

All bedrooms boast sea views! Additionally, the master suite, one of two bedrooms on the ground floor, features television and a private outdoor plunge pool. The master en-suite bathroom features a separate bath (as well as shower), bidet & twin washbasins. All other bathrooms are fitted with showers, washbasins & toilets.

Guest Cottage:
The cottage, which is situated as close to the ocean as anyone could wish for, provided guests with larger families/parties the opportunity to accommodate them. There are two additional bedrooms, one fitted with a double bed & the other with two single beds. Additionally, there is a bathroom, and a comfortable living area furnished with 'rattan' cane wicker chair & sofa.

Facilities:
Kitchen:
The kitchen is without doubt the best-equipped kitchen of any private home or villa in Bali! Essentially, like a commercial kitchen, it boasts stainless steel preparation, cooking areas & sinks. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient quality tableware to accommodate dinner parties for up to 20 (twenty) guests.

Pavilion & Pool Area:
The pavilion is a 100 M2 open-plan living area which has two distinctive sitting areas. The 'chunky bamboo' furnishings are both practical & comfortable, & afford guests unparallel views of both the pool (which measures 14 M x 7 M) & the ocean beyond.

Poolside furnishings consist of 8 deck chairs with side tables & umbrellas. There is also another small (covered) pavilion, known as the bale, which serves as an ideal retreat for a couple or as a 'massage' or 'day room'.

We strongly advise one member of a rental party to liaise with the cooks, where upon dinner menus & meal times can be established. Also, given that the purchase of groceries & fresh meats/seafood is done very early in the mornings, guests are advised to provide the cooks with a shopping list one day in advance.

The Villa is nestled on an isolated area in the palm groves just up the coast from a small traditional fishing village next to an ancient sea temple. The home is designed to view the blue Indian ocean, even from the bed. While either sitting on the pool chair or lying to the hammock, the deep harmony of the ocean keep entertaining your days. At night the ocean is full of glimpse of hundreds of fishermen's lights. It is so wonderful.

A beautiful villa is surrounded by lush tropical trees: popular coconuts are every where, famous frangipanis and the pandanus. The Villa is located only 10 minutes by car from the Nirwana Golf and Spa Resort which offers one of Asia's most spectacular 18 hole Golf courses designed by Greg Norman.

Main house consists of the kitchen, living area, second bedroom and dining room; bungalow 1 (master bedroom, working studio); Bungalow 2 (king size bed, en-suite bathroom with bathtub), staff quarter is situated end of the garage.

ACCOMMODATION
The master bedroom is positioned at the bungalow1. This air-conditioned bedroom is with a super king-size bed, overlooking salty water swimming pool, garden and ocean. Its en-suite is with open air garden bath, big bathtub, walk-in closet.

To make it more comfortable it is also equipped with stereo, satellite TV, VCR and phone. This villa is also favourite for honeymooners. The second bedroom is attached to the main house, has a beautiful antique Chinese bed looking out into the ocean, with AC, and can be used as a day room.

The 3rd bedroom is adjacent in between bungalow1 and bungalow2 features king size bed with mosquito net, en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower hot and cold running water. The working studio which could serve the third bedroom is adjacent to the master in the bungalow1, queen bed with ocean view, AC, and porch with temple and sunset outlook. This room can be used for small child or infants need to be close to their parents.

Living & Dining Area
The main house with complete kitchen has a THX stereo system, super large hexagonal sitting area under a magnificent cathedral ceiling overlooking the garden, pool and ocean.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, big fridge, glass and table wares, cutleries, etc. A Balinese lady will cook and serve all meals guests need. Her best is in Indonesian and Balinese food. You are in Bali, trying her food is a nice choice.

Swimming Pool
It is situated under some coconut trees, facing lush tropical trees and the magnificent Indian ocean. Balinese gazebo (Bale) next to swimming pool is suitable area for relaxing or massages.
